How to Know If She Likes Me?

When a guy falls head over heels for someone, it can sometimes be hard to know whether those feelings are returned. No man can read a woman’s mind, no matter what the movies say. He’s stuck thinking about her all the time, feeling joyful and then helpless whenever she walks into the room. Does it always have to be this way?

Fortunately, there are more concrete signals to look for that might give away the fact that a girl is interested. If the answer to the following questions is “yes, yes, yes,” then you’ll know it’s time to make your move!

 
Does her body language change?
If she has a crush on you, she’ll unconsciously point her body in your direction whether she’s sitting or standing. See if she frequently leans forward towards you. Don’t ogle, but try to see if she’s swaying her hips or showing some extra skin in your direction. These are all good signs!

Does she want to be around you?
A woman who’s interested in you is sure to try to be near you all the time. Either she’ll show up in your favorite hangouts, or she’ll make sure to invite you along whenever she and her friends are going out. She’s going to want you to notice her wherever you go.

Is she dressing up?
Women pay a lot of attention to how they dress, and a woman looking to get your attention will probably dress in a way that shows it. Does she seem to wear nicer clothes and jewelry whenever she knows you’ll be coming around? Does she wear more perfume than before? Size up this sort of thing carefully—staring too much could make her uncomfortable.

Does she blush and smile?
If you notice that her cheeks turn pink around you, it could indicate that you’re on her mind. Take it as a plus if she’s smiling and giggling a lot more frequently than her friends do. A shy girl might cover her face with her hands more often when the object of her affection is nearby. Keep getting closer and see what she does!

Is she fidgeting?
If a woman has a real interest in you, you should notice her twirling her hair, playing with her jewelry, and touching her own neck, shoulders and face frequently. Some women will also show nervousness by fidgeting with small objects like a pen, compact or drink umbrella. Pay attention to whether these behaviors increase whenever she’s near you.

Is she listening to you?
She might try to hide it, but you’ll know if she’s paying attention to everything you say and do. This is one of the surest giveaways that she’s into you. Does she ask you a lot of questions? If she seems more interested in what you say than in what her friends say, then definitely take that as a strong sign!

Does she want to share your space?
Whenever you sit down, see if she sits nearby. She might also try to keep an open space near her in the hopes that you’ll move in closer. If she finds excuses to touch your arms or shoulders, or gives you lots of “friendly” hugs, these are all powerful signals that she’s got a crush.
